When we moved to Longview 33 years ago, Joyce lived across the street. She took care of our neighborhood by writing notes and putting them in mailboxes if you needed to mow or edge, in her opinion. She had one patent get her son out of bed at 8:00am on a Saturday to pick up the littered beer bottles from a party that were all the way down to her house. We still laugh about that with neighbors who fondly remember her. She brought food and was at my first husband's services. She was delighted when I remarried, and we were all shocked when she sold her house to move to the lake. May she Rest In Peace. Sharon Noblit
