Joshwa Kyle Nelson's Obituary
Memorial services for Joshwa Kyle Nelson, 18, of Gilmer will be 3 PM Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Gilmer. Joshwa passed away Thursday afternoon in a Dallas hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Joshwa was born on January 23, 1989 in Longview Texas to Monty and Trena Nelson. He was a 2007 graduate of Gilmer High School and was enrolled at Stephen F. Austin State University. He accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 12 and soon made his faith the most important thing in his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gilmer and loved being there every time the doors were open.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Trena Fischer; and grandfather Mervel Nelson.
Survivors include his father, Monty Nelson, sister and brother in law Natasha and T.J. Brown; niece and nephew KamRyn and Keyanna Brown; grandparents Gail Nelson, and Richard and Margie Fischer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
