Memorial services for Joshwa Kyle Nelson, 18, of Gilmer will be 3 PM Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Gilmer. Joshwa passed away Thursday afternoon in a Dallas hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the Read Obituary
I had the great pleasure of being Joshwa's nurse at Children's in Dallas. In the short time that I knew Josh he showed the strength and compassion that everyone knows him for. Josh was a GREAT human being, someone I could only hope to be like.

I worked with Josh and his family to help prepare him to go to SFASU while he was at Children's Medical Center Dallas this summer I worked as a teacher there. Josh's spirit and courage was one that I have seen few times in my years as a teacher. He will be greatly missed.
