My deepest sympathy goes out to Joe?s family. Joe was my ?go to guy? in materials here at Maxtor. He could find a joke even on the tough days. We were all so excited for him and could see his retirement plans coming together. It was fun to share in his energy. He was missed here in Longmont but we were sure he was happy. I?m sure the good memories will bring smiles to the faces of all the lives that Joe has touched over the years. Rest in Pease Joe?##imported-begin##Sue Burton##imported-end##
Mary, I thoughts are with you. Both Keenan?s and my lives will be forever touched by Joe. Keenan is almost 18 years old now but I remember when Joe was the first who wanted to hold him, the first day I brought my new baby into work to show him off. All through Keenan?s childhood, Keenan would come to work with me. The first thing Keenan would do is run to Joe's office to see if Mr. Cuc' would let him have something from the "Keenan Drawer", which of course was filled with special Keenan goodies, like candy, party favors and little toy's. The answer was always yes. Then, no matter how busy Joe was, he would hoist Keenan into a chair and REALLY listen to Keenan latest imaginary adventures. Many people care, but Joe cared deeply and acted on love daily. We have been truly blessed by having him in our lives.

Dear Mary & Family,
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Joe. I worked with Joe back in 1983 when I first started at Miniscribe later to become Maxtor and he was such a wonderful man. I know he loved his family dearly as he always talked about all of you.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Joe was such a delight always smiling and greeting you with a kind word. Mr. Olson and my parents enjoyed their visits with the two of you so much. We love you.##imported-begin##Tammy Kelsey Skinner##imported-end##

Dear Mary & family,
I was next to Joe's cube for his last years at Maxtor. He will always be remembered for his willingness to help, his kind heart and his infectious laugh. Just about every day, Joe would talk about his two grandkids that he loved so much. Pictures of them surrounded his desk. He was so proud of them.
Joe told me a story once about when he was a youth and played baseball. When the ball field needed mowing, Joe did it a night with a 'borrowed' tractor that was near the field. Years later, he ran into the farmer who owned the tractor and he confessed. The farmer said, 'why do you think that it always had a full tank of gas'?
My favoite memory of Joe was a Halloween and we talked him into dress up as Boris and I was Natasha. Being a good sport about it, he wore a heavy overcoat like the cartoon charactor and literally, sweated it out. I was the lucky one because for one day, I got to be his 'Daaarlink'.
With my deepest sympathy,

Dear Family of Joe,
I did not work directly for Joe, but saw him most every day and he was always so warm and willing to lend a hand. His sense of humor was one to long for and his sensitivity was wonderful. He was the kind of man that all men could take a lesson from. I'm sure you will miss him terribly and know I will be praying for your family.
Sincerely and in God's Love,
Blessings to your Family at this time,
