Dear Family, Extended Family, and other friends of Stan:

I was shocked as I'm sure you all were and saddened to hear of Stan's untimely passing. I know he will be greatly missed.
I believe Stan and I were classmates in elementary or grade school for a short time at Pine Tree, but that Stan changed to Longview so that he could study Latin. I was still somewhat acquainted with him at church, where my parents, Dudley and Bonnie Meadows, have continued to attend. Mother just sent me the obituary from the paper.
I remember Stan as always having a friendly and humorous outlook on life and enjoying interaction with others. Though I never knew him as an adult, I can still remember his laughter from his teenage years. I'm sure Stan and my husband, would have enjoyed meeting one another, had they had the chance. My heart is saddened for your loss of Stan. I trust your hearts are comforted knowing that Stan is at Home with the Lord.

I met and knew Stan along with Steve Adell in the Singles Dept. of 1st Bapt. back in the late 70's. They lived a block over from where I lived with my parents at the time. I remember him as very gifted, friendly and fun loving.
