I worked with Johnny from 1987 to 1997 in the SPLC Kilgore Houston 10" pipeline. he helped to understand the ins and outs of the area from Pasadena to Kilgore and surrounding area. He was a down to earth individua. Recently, I had visited with him at the Longview Harvest Festival, back in October of last year. We talked about his brain episode and all seemed better, according to him. This was a big shock! He will be missed by all the folks he helped during the festival each year. RIP Johnny!
