John F. Ball's Obituary
Funeral services for John Franklin Ball, 68, of Henderson, will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Ball passed away Wednesday morning in Longview. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
John proudly served USMC & Navy. He did two tours in Vietnam. He could figure out anything electronical and had such an intelligent mind. He loves his wife & children. Absolutely adored his grandchildren. He was an extremely private man, but when he did open up, the stories he would tell would amaze us all. He traveled the world in the military and saw things he could only dream about. He will be missed dearly, and all of his Boston family loves him and will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Mamie King; Grandfather Frank Hamons; Father John Larry Ball; and his son Andrew Michael Ball.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Mavis Murray; his wife Mary Ball; son Matthew Ball; daughters Adrianne and Rebecca Ball; son Jonathan Howard; His beloved grandchildren Maya, Dominic and Ava Thurmond, and William and Lily Ball, Dakota Hiler, Skyler & Layla Cochran, and Ashley & Drew Howard. He is also survived by his Brothers Larry Ball, James Mark Murray, Jody Murray; and his sisters Pamela Whitaker and Kathy Kemp; and Lots of nieces and nephews.
