I know that Joe will be missed by his family and friends for some time to come. I'll really miss his "what's up dude" and "I heard that" comments. Joe was a fine friend to have and I'm just so glad that I was able to spend a little time with him before he passed this life. I know that Joe is in a better place and that gives hope to those that follow.##imported-begin##Bob Norris##imported-end##
Keith & Jennifer,
I was told of Joe's passing Tuesday morning at work. I want you both to know that I have been trying to get in touch with Keith for sometime now. I wanted to go and see your Dad. My attempts came up empty without a number to contact anyone. Please know that I loved Joe like a Dad for many years. Joe will be truely missed by so many of us. I could right a book of all the happy memories he has left for me to remember him by. Now they are cherished memories.Actually, 25 years of memories that I will now hold so close to my heart.Joe was a wonderful man that I had the upmost respect for. I will miss him and our long talks so much.
Love you both,

I was sadden to read of Joe Mearle's passing. Joe was a classmate of mine at Mt. Enterprise High School. In 2000, we got to renew our friendship at a High School Reunion. It was the first time I had seen him since we graduated. We enjoyed talking of our memories of school and growing up in the '50's, and catching up on the last 50 years. I have a good picture of him with Leetie Hudgins Wigand, Sue Penny Barrett, and myself that I treasure. May God bless you and yours, Marilyn##imported-begin##Marilyn Phillips Vaught##imported-end##
