Jimmy Lee Bates 's Obituary
A Celebration of Life for Jimmy Lee Bates, 70, of Henderson will be held 11:00am Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Laird Hill with Bro. Roger Purdy, Pastor Bubba Sanders and Rev. Ernest Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Jimmy was born September 6, 1944 and went to be with his Savior, Jesus May 17, 2015.
He was a mighty man of God who leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Joanie. His greatest achievement was his daughter, Jennie Lea. He was blessed with his son Stephen, his daughter Jeanie, honorary sons Alton and Bryan, 4 grandsons, three granddaughters and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gospel Lighthouse Church in Laird Hill.
