Jimmy was a great man my father thought the world of Jimmy he was the son my dad never had. Being neighbors with Bates gave the 2 of them time to drink gallons of coffee and spin many a yarn. What a home coming they will have. Joanie and Jennie. I know it will be hard for you, hold on tight to you Faith and let it be your anchor. Live you kimie

To the Bates Family: Our families go way back. I remember coming to ya'll's house after church when I was a kid and loved to watch Jimmy call the peacocks. That was such entertainment for a kid from Red Level. He called me after my Daddy, Dale Beckman, passed. He was so apologetic for not knowing about that til after the fact. Our family has always loved your family. Jimmy was a precious part of that wonderful family. I love you all and will be praying for you, especially you, Deborah Pearl.
