My condolences to the family of Jimmy. He was one of the best of friends when I worked with the Axelson Credit Union, Longview. He was on my board for many years and I always enjoyed his input, support but most of all his friendship. I am saddened by his death, though I have been retired many years now I still think of the Axelson employees as some of my best friends and acquaintances. .

One of my first memories of Uncle Jim was him talking like Donald Duck. He always knew how to make me laugh. Sitting around the table with Aunt Sally and Uncle Jim playing cards (Rummy) was an event. He loved God and loved his church and I know he and Aunt Sally are together again. Love you, Uncle Jim.
Hello Father!!! That is how I always greeted Jim. Then he would just moan at me. We loved picking at each other. I got to know Jim and Sally when I worked at Sally's Sandwich Shop. I grew to love them both. I would still go by and visit with him. Jim always gave me a hard time about not making him cookies enough. I will miss him with all my heart. I was fortunate to see him in the hospital and tell him I loved him amd for him to tell me the same. I know he is with Sally and happy to be reunited with her. Love you Jim, will miss you!!!
Jim could sound just like Donald Duck, the kids loved it. he was a avid hunter and made great chili cheese dogs. I appreciated being his brother in law and thought he treated my sister with great respect. Jim will be missed by me and anybody that knew him. I always appreciated Jim's service to our country and the appreciation he had for his work. he was very proud of his work and took pride in the product he produced. I hope this country produces more Jim Knights

I loved Jimmie and Sally so much. When I lost my Mom, eight years ago, they were there for me. When I moved, they gave me furniture. He always brought us donuts to his dental appointments, no matter who drove him! So many wonderful memories! Leslie and all of you are in my prayers. I just know he and Sally are so happy and smiling together!
