I attended Arkansas High School Class 1967 with Jerry. I was saddened to hear of his passing but comforted knowing he has eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus. There are no words spoken by mankind to comfort family and friends but leaning on the love and grace of our heavenly father can give us the peace we seek. There are no words that can properly express the pain of losing a dear, dear friend. I appreciate so much the memorial service for Jerry. Both young evangelists and the family did a beautiful job of sharing what a wonderful servant of the Lord Jerry was here on earth. I can only hope it touched many hearts left here and they will continue his great and much needed work of uniting men in the work of the Lord. Like all of us Jerry was just a man, but the difference I saw in him was he had a single purpose in his efforts and that was to glorify the Lord. Never did I see him asking for or wanting praise for his effort. My what a glory to God it would be if all of us could have this attitude. What a different world it would be.

What can I say about Jerry Nall? What comes to my mind when I think of Jerry is courage. Whether he was weathering assaults from other people or the vicious attacks of cancer, he kept calm and carried on. He was one of the best men I ever knew, and I loved him dearly.

I attended school with Jerry and he was always very kind. In high school, he was voted the most likely to succeed ... I was in attendance this morning for the memorial service for Jerry. I only attended high school with him many years ago. I didn't know him as well as others, but know he was a kind person. From all that I heard this morning, Jerry was a loving, kind husband, father and grandfather. He was dedicated to his church and to our Heavenly Father. I attended school with Jerry from 7th through 12th grade. I always found him to be sincere and thoughtful at times when others weren't. He was very smart and well thought of by all that knew him. I remember him as a shy person but so sweet. Jerry wrote to me and my husband (also a former classmate) when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Jerry's encouragement and suggestions were so helpful. He was a true man of God. We appreciated his caring enough to try to help us through a difficult time, when he, himself, was also going through some pretty tough times. He has served his Father well. He will be missed and remembered by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with Aleatha and his family as they come to terms with his passing. Jerry and I attended school together from elementary through high school. He has always been an extremely nice person, very intelligent, calm and most of all a friend to everyone. While we have not seen each other for years, Jerry will certainly be missed. He has served his Lord and will be rewarded accordingly. May each of the family members be blessed with the time Jerry was with them. God is great and Jerry lived by example. Rest in peace my friend. You have achieved the greatest promotion. That is to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior.
