Debbie, sorry you lost your dad and that I was not able to get up there last week due to illness.
Jerome and I were best friends through high school, roommates for 2 years in college prior to WW II and he was Bestman at my wedding in 1945. Have missed him a lot these many years since that time due to our geographical locations. He was a great person. Best wishes to you and Jeff.##imported-begin##Bill Watts##imported-end##
My condolences to his family and loved ones.
As a new employee at Cherco Equipment Company back in 1970 one of my favorite memories is when the secretary was decorating the office Christmas tree. She was having some trouble getting it to look right. When Jerry walked by she said "I can't get these balls to hang right". Jerry kept walking and said "I know just how you feel". I have been laughing ever since. Jerry was a good man who had the respect of his employees. His dry since of humor is what I will remember most.##imported-begin##Darrell Thompson##imported-end##

I have always cherished my memories of Jerry mastering the links at Pinecrest Country Club. My father, Daniel I. Felsenthal, had the highest respect for him and always told me he "was the most successful and wise businessman he'd ever met." Moreover, Jerry's generosity in bringing his baked bread to my father while he was in declining health and to my mother after his passing will always stand in my mind as a testament to his true tenderness and character, which I will woefully miss, but feel so greatful for having known.
He was one of a kind!##imported-begin##Daniel S. Felsenthal##imported-end##

Debbie,
How sad I am that you have lost your last parent, but I am happy that this has brought our friendship closer. We share memories of our childhood, as well as the closeness of my mother and your Aunt Jean. Find happiness and peace in the legacy that our parents left behind.
Love,
Ann##imported-begin##Ann Shivers Matherne##imported-end##
