To the Family, so sorry for your loss.

Jay McCasland was one of the kindest, most generous Christian men I have ever known. He withstood many health issues toward the end of his life and he, with the help of some of Texas’ finest Baylor physicians pulled off a miracle. I am sure the many prayers said on his behalf also helped. This latest problem found him without the stamina to pull off another miracle. I am very thankful that the end was at a time when all of the sons and families were there. Now Jay is with the Lord, and Grandma & Grandpa McCasland. I have said a prayer of thanksgiving for the pleasure of Jay’s life here on earth. Thank you Lord.

My heart is saddened by the loss of such a great man, but I know God himself has greeted him with his glory! I pray for the family during their time of grief to help ease the pain . Lots of love, Tammy Gill and family.
Dearest McCasland Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Brother Jay. He was a very kind and caring man. We are very happy to say that we had the privilege of him marrying my wife and I 6 years ago in December. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Carolyn and family, Please accept our sincerest sympathy on Jay' s passing. He was a sweet, wonderful man and my husband and I shared many great conversations with him. I can honestly say I never saw him without a big smile on his face. May God hold your hand through this grieving process as he has for us during the last few months as we have grieved over the loss of our daughter, Lisa. With love and caring, Sandy and Dale Wood
My family and I are saddened to hear of the loss of Brother Jay. Our deepest sympathies go out to Carolyn and family. I will always be grateful for the time he took to teach the preaching course to the "preacher boys" while he was at Northside Baptist and providing us an opportunity to practice before the church. It has helped me greatly in my ministry. My family and I will miss him and continue to pray for his family. Gene, Cassandra, and Daniel Teel
