Jan Statman's Obituary
Janice Hope Berliner Statman was born in Bronx, New York and graduated from Hunter College. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, artist, writer, television host, and teacher. Jan saw beauty in the world, always had time for her friends, and tried to make a better place for us all.
Jan was preceded by her husband Max Statman She is survived by her sister Donna; Three children, Charles, Louis and Sherry, and a grandson, Saul Statman.
If you wish to honor her memory, please support the local arts. Go to a museum, buy some artwork, encourage creativity in children.
Services will be 1:00pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Temple Emanuel, 3pm at Memory Park Cemetery under direction of Rader Funeral Home.
