He sold his business and was semi-retired but continued to work as an independent contractor providing services in the industries of Oil and Gas, Recycling, Commercial Mowing and for the State of Texas. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and true friend to all who knew him. Mr. Walker developed a reputation for giving and it was common to hear, “James Walker, oh he’s a great guy, if he knew you needed it, he’d give you the shirt off his back.” He had a passion and affinity for hunting and fishing and pursed this joy throughout his life while graciously sharing these skills to those who would listen. He had a sharp wit and always enjoyed lively conversation. Mr. Walker leaves behind his son, Kirt Morris (wife Morgan) and two grandchildren, Jackson (8) and Madeline (6) of Spring, Texas.
