James Gary Visage's Obituary
James Gary Visage passed away Saturday morning, June 22, 2019. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Pastor Todd Kaunitz officiating.
James Gary Visage was born September 6, 1955, in Kilgore, Texas, to Lonnie Kay and Twilla Louise Visage. Gary graduated from Kilgore High School and attended Kilgore College. He worked as a Drafter/CAD Tech for many years in Kilgore & Longview working for May Engineering, Morris Engineering, KSA Engineering, Sabine Mining, Hayes Engineering, among others.
Gary enjoyed woodworking, watching professional tennis, and visiting with his family and friends through Facebook, by telephone and in person. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Longview.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by: his brother & sister-in-law Lonnie Wayne & Patty June Visage of Salt Lake City, UT, sister & brother-in-law Linda Louise & Michael Glenn Phillips of Longview, TX, Kenny Visage of Longview, TX; nephew & family Steven & Alejandra, Jorge & Amelia Visage of Salt Lake City, UT; niece & family Lindsay & Mark & Luke & Casey Gursky of Huntington Woods, MI; nephew & family Brandon Michael Phillips & Danielle Walker & Hadleigh Phillips of White Oak, TX; aunts Judy Brown of Irving, TX, Betty Kingery of Rogers, TX, & aunt & uncle Gail & John Jackson of Gilmer, TX; & many cousins & other loving family members.
The family would like to express gratitude for the care extended to Gary at Colonial Village, Brookdale Assisted Living and Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center.
