I would love to hear him greet me as "young un". We connected with us both being Cowboys fans. A joy to talk to and such a kind person. Missed for sure.

Gary was the best. We would always have such good visits. He was the first one we would visit when we were back in town.
While being managers at Colonial, he would call one of us to have Q&A discussions. Gary and I knew a lot if the same people and was fun to just seeing how many we did know.
When Joe had his leg amputated, Gary surprised him by sending a chair for the bath and a rollator walker.
Gary really liked Amazon and got me hooked on it.
Gary was loved by many and will be a void in our lives, but will always be remembered for his kindness and love of people.

I did not know him personally! My husband got to meet him several months ago at Brookdale Assisted Living! Gary was very kind enough to reach out to me on social media & bought a lot of chocolate candy bars to help my daughter raise money for her Blastball fundraiser for her end of season party! I had him as a friend on Facebook & I really enjoyed reading his posts everyday & his mornings posts & hilarious jokes! He will be missed truly by many! He was a great man! Prayers for his family & friends for their loss.
Gary and I were always in the same homeroom. He was always such a sweet guy. I’m so glad we were able to reconnect on Facebook these last few years. His family is in my prayers. I know heaven is rejoicing today. Gary was definitely one of the good guys.

My condolences to Gary’s friends and beloved family. Gary and I had not seen of heard from each other since we graduated from KHS in 1973 up until just the last few years. I was so happy to have found him on Facebook and what a reunion it was! I looked forward to his, almost daily, greetings, jokes and weather forecasts. I don’t think I ever met a jollier fellow than Gary. I’ll miss him, his positive spirit and the sunny spin he put on things, no matter how dire.
Don’t know Gary, but I knew him Through Facebook. He always had encouraging things to say to his Facebook family. Rest in peace. Prayers for his family
