Working for Eric was an education for me and my partner. We both found him "in charge" yet able to have fun with us too. He taught us the JOB and gave us insight to people and what life was about. Of course we did not always know if he was pulling our leg in some of the things he said - yet we picked up some of his habits and were even guilty of quoting some of his remarks. We both realized he had a really sharp mind as he would sometimes use a word in mid sentence that just did not belong there. We came to realize that most of the time that word would belong in the next sentence or two if we would pay attention. Many times to our dismay and later amusement he would line out the way he wanted us to work on a project - and just as we solidified those instructions in our heads and on our note pads- he would come back and say "Or you could do it this way" and we would start over. I will miss not seeing him show up with some joke or odd saying at any moment. Rest in peace Eric.##imported-begin##Don & Robbie Gilbreath##imported-end##
Cammie:
Our hearts and prayers go out to you with the passing of Eric. I remember when my Dad was still living, he and Eric would get together and talk "Cajun". I would always greet him with "C'est va Landry?" He was a kind and gentle person just as your Mother was. God's peace to you and your family.##imported-begin##Butch & Betsy Lanclos##imported-end##

My family and I recently became acquainted with Mr. Landry and Cammie when he came to San Angelo for the last leg of his earthly journey. They are both such special people and we felt honored to get to know them. I became quite attached to Mr. Landry and enjoyed bringing him desserts to feed his sweet tooth. He was always charming and kind and I will miss our visits. God Bless.##imported-begin##Brenda Kellar Norris##imported-end##
We are saddened by the news of Eric's death. We were classmates in Graduate School at LSU, co-workers at Texas Eastman Co. golfing buddies and good friends. We will sorely miss him. Our prayers are with you at this time. We will have masses said for him here, as we did for Lois. E.C. and Claudette Sibille##imported-begin##E. C. Sibille##imported-end##
