James E. Richardson's Obituary
A celebration of life for James E. Richardson, 83, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Mr. Richardson passed away Sunday afternoon in Longview. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
James was born on December 5, 1926 in Idabell, Oklahoma to Thomas and Flora Richardson. He worked for SouthWestern Bell Telephone Company for 22 years and was a retired home builder. He was a 50 year Master Mason and a member of Longview 610 OES. His family and friends imagine he is walking the streets of gold handing out suckers to all God's children. James' joy in life was giving to others.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Pauline Richardson; two sons, Glenn Richardson and wife Kay, and Dennis Richardson and wife Sharon; and one daughter, Karen Nimmo and husband Don; grandsons, Heath Richardson and Neil Richardson and granddaughter, Kristi Richardson.
