Dear Pauline and children: It is with great grief we learned of James passing. He was one of the most WONDERFUL persons we have ever had the joy of knowing. We love you all, and know our "Buddy" aka "Old Fart" is resting in complete peace. We will miss him very much. He was the best friend a person could ever ask for and share with others. What a privilege to grow up at Valley View with the love and laughter and fellowship of families who truly cared about one another. Mr. Richardson always had a smile or a hug or a kind word for me. I treasure the memories of your wonderful family and the friendship of our families.

Mrs. Richarson, Karen, Dennis and Glenn,
I have wonderful memories of Mr. Richardson and your family through the years--camping, our RV caravan to Disney World, and lots of Valley View memories. Andrew has more recent good memories of fishing with Mr. Richardson on Lake Bob Sandlin. Mrs. Richardson, you and Mr. Richardson were such good friends to my mom and dad. I know they are enjoying reminiscing together right now. We pray for your comfort, peace and strength.

Pauline and Family - I can not say it will be easy...you will miss James every day...so many memories, so many things to remind you of him.
But that is what I treasure now -
Frederick is always with me and I know I will be with him again soon.
Glen, Fred enjoyed picking on you when you were a kid at Valley View. He loved all the kids but some were special.
Robert Mancil reminded me how James always picked on me. He said if James and Billy Tarver did not have something to say to me he would think they were mad at me. I usually gave as good as I got..I was mouthy too.
We miss all of you at Valley View - there is so few of us left.
But someday we will have a reunion in Heaven and how wonderful it will be. Fred and James will eat up all the fish and Mexican food but I am sure there will be something for us.
My Beth always wanted to carry a
purse to Church when she was little.
I finally ask why she always wanted to take a purse-her answer "Mr. James will bring me "Wheat Pennies"
and I have to have my purse to carry them." And he always had pennies for her, she adored him.
Pauline, my prayers are with you
and remember the wonderful years. We were only married 52 years but they were wonderful years.

I worked for yall at the Green Top, long ago. I remember putting in a cooler with him. I respected, James. I was suprised to learn he was a mason. I, also , am a Mason.
