James D. "Big J' Barber, Jr.
Funeral services for James D. "Big J' Barber, Jr. 23, of White Oak will be held at Ten O'clock AM Thursday April 1, 2010 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend David Reeder officiating. Interment will follow in Gladewater Memorial Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Barber passed away Saturday March 27, 2010 in Longview.
He was born July 14, 1986 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was Floor Hand for P.M. Carlin Well Service.
Big J had resided in the East Texas area the last Ten years, he attended Pine Tree High School. He enjoyed football, fishing and loved the mountains. He never met a stranger , he will be loved and remembered in our hearts. He loved special kids, Carter and Vanessa Brick.
If tears were a stairway and memories a lane, I would walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
He is survived by his parents, James and Patricia Barber of Longview, five brothers, Terry Barber and wife Kerri of San Antonio, TX. Robert Barber and wife Victoria of White Oak, Joshua Collamore and wife Melissa of Tilton, Ohio; Kyler Barber and wife Myrista of Longview, Orion Barber and wife Jamie of Longview, two sisters, Crystal Barber of Dallas, TX.; Stephanie Brown and husband Luke of Abilene, TX.; Grandmother, Wynn Ford of Seminole, TX., numerous nieces and nephews, Fiancée Jessica Brick of White Oak.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 6-8pm
