James always lit up the room with his charm and loving ways. I had the honor of growing up around him every deer season of my entire life, and can honestly say I looked forward to him being here. I will miss his stories, hugs, and fish fry very much. I know all the Drapers will miss your company, James.##imported-begin##Jaci Draper##imported-end##
We loved James's fried catfish, hush puppies, coconut pie and fresh veggies from his garden. I'm sure he is entertaining the angels with his wonderful stories. Our prayers are with Mark, Laurie and family. RIP James.##imported-begin##Carolyn & Jerry Dominy##imported-end##
We remember you from St Andrew Church. Our deepest condolences.##imported-begin##William and Janet Martin##imported-end##
No one fried fish, cooked hush puppies or made pickles better than Uncle James. Always the jokester, he was never without a funny story or a joke. Our thoughts and prayers are with our dear cousins Laurie and Mark. There are so many wonderful memories of your father I pray will comfort you during the sad times.
We love you!

Always enjoyed visiting with James and Glynda when I had listing in that area. Will always remember their duck and how loyal he was to them and how much they cared for him. Good "folks" that are missed greatly. Praying wonderful memories will help you through the days ahead.##imported-begin##Nell Raper Boren##imported-end##
I was only able to enjoy James' friendship the last decade of his life, unfortunately. However, in that short time I learned what a kind hearted and truly interesting man he was. James knew something about practically everything, and usually had a good story to go along with it. Time spent with him at the deer lease was always memorable, and I treasure every moment of it. James will be sorely missed, and most assuredly not forgotten. If we can take solace in anything, it would be that he assuredly wrung his share of adventures out of the time God gave him on this earth. Happy hunting up there my friend.##imported-begin##Bob Anderson and sons##imported-end##
I was sorry to hear of James' passing. Everyone here at the dental office will miss him. James always seemed to be in a good mood. I know he missed Glynda. James always had a good story to tell. I trust he's in a place now where they have good fishing. Amen and amen.##imported-begin##Steve Crump##imported-end##
