Jacqueline Pike Markee
Jacqueline Pike Markee, 77, of Hallsville, Texas died in a Longview nursing facility, Sunday, August 10, 2003. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Markee was born September 24, 1925 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada. She and her husband had just recently moved to Hallsville to be near their daughter. She had been a resident of Hutchinson, Kansas for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Markee was a homemaker, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hutchinson, Kansas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Charles A. Markee of Hallsville; children, Hazen Charles Markee, II of Newfane, New York, Linda Markee Knecht of Ames, Iowa, and Patricia Markee Taber of Hallsville; grandchildren, Michelle Markee Wishowski, Charles A. Markee, II, Sarah Markee Long, Bryan David Knecht, Travis Michael Taber, Daniel Matthew Taber, and Nathaniel David Taber; and 6 great grandchildren.
