Mrs Garrett, I was in the army with JW in 1953. I had been looking for him for over 15 years. I jusn now have learned to search on the computer and discovered him today in the obituary.I am so sorry about his loss. We were good friends. He came to see me while I was in college at Alpine Tx in about 1957 when he was on a job out there. That was my last contact with him. Betty, we both wanted to let you know that we're praying for the entire family during this great loss. J.W. will be missed by everyone. You'll have been an inspiration to us both through the years. Jay was a wonderful man who would do anything for anyone who needed his help. My favorite memory is visiting my family next door and watching Jay mow the lawn with the dog in his lap!
