Mr. London was a great chemistry teacher. He ran a very disciplined class. He was soft spoken and kind but no nonsense at the same time. I remember he always would eat oranges for lunch. I think he was actually involved with some of the chemistry involved with the military. He was a good Christiand and a great man. I also had his son, Jack for junior high shop teacher. He was like his father in many ways. My condolences to the family. John Tatum

I was saddened to learn about the death of my friend, J. G. London. As a young teacher at Longview H. S., he befriended me. I also got to know his son Jack as well. J. G. would take me with him to look for East Texas Mineral leases. He was a good man. I'm glad he knew the Lord and is now with him.

To the London family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. Mr. London was my Chemistry teacher years ago and I fondly remember him taking time to explain to me the fundamentals of chemistry. He was always patient and encouraging. I will be always grateful for that.
