HORACE BEALL
Services for Horace Beall , 79, of Longview will be noon Saturday, December 20th at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Ritchie Hamm officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart Cemetery in Rusk County. Mr. Beall died Wednesday evening at a local hospital.
He was born September 8, 1929 in Rusk County, Texas to Walter C. and Lillian Armstrong Beall. A resident of Longview since 1940, he was a member of the Pine Tree Church of Christ, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U. S. Army during Korea. In the early 1970's, he was appointed by The White House to serve on the Joint Committee on Defense Production. He was a retired supervisor at Stemco Manufacturing and previously was a long-time employee of Kelly Plow Co.
Horace was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Beall and is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, William Michael and Cindy Beall of Longview and Glenn Edward and Lisa Beall of Skiatook, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Beall of Longview and Malford and JoAnn Beall of Kilgore; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and John Cates of Longview; Grandchildren: Kendrah Tennison, Todd Beall, Kimberli Beall, Ashlea Thomas Beall, Ryan Beall, Micah Beall and Dustin Eastin; Great Grandchildren: Olivia Tennison, Aubrey Tennison, and Trenton Beall.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Friday evening 6 to 8 pm.
