It was with much sadness that we learned of Horace's passing. We will always remember him as the loving husband of Sarah. His devotion to her was something that set him apart from others. When I married Cecil Camp in 1948, Horace was Cecil's "best man." He was a good friend and we had lots of fun in our younger years. I lost touch with him after Cecil's death in 1986, but I'll always remember those fun years and what a fine person he was.

In my younger days, Mr. Beall was my supervisor at Stemco. He wasn't a warm and fuzzy type man, but he was fair and treated everyone equally. I don't know why, but when I think of him, I always smile. I think everyone who worked for him knew him to be a good man and had a lot of respect for him.
