Henrietta Austin's Obituary
Funeral Services for Henrietta Austin, 83, of Longview will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Schulik officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM Wednesday in Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas. Mrs. Austin died Sunday afternoon at her home in Longview. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Henrietta was born on May 3, 1925 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Henry and Evelyn Graves. She has been in the Longview community since 1981, coming here from Shreveport, Louisiana, where she retired from United Gas Pipeline. She was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church, a loving wife, mother grandmother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos C. Austin, who passed away in 1998; her son, Paul D. Austin who passed away in 1979; her brother, James Graves; and her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cathy Austin of Houston; grandchildren, Laura Austin and Brittany Austin of Houston; her brother, Robert Graves of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
