Henretta was a special lady that we all enjoyed at exercise class. Her first day she could hardly touch her knees but soon she could touch the floor...something many of those younger could not do. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She will be missed. I know wonderful memories of her will help you through this time of great loss.
God Bless you,##imported-begin##Nell Raper##imported-end##
I was so sorry to hear of Henrietta's passing. I know she must be enjoying heaven. She brought such joy to others. She often visited my 92 yr. grandmother at her home then recently in her assisted living. My grandmother would talk about her visits and the sweet gifts Henrietta would bring her. Your mother/ grandmother was a very special person!##imported-begin##Jane H. Hale##imported-end##
Keith, So sorry that I could not come and be with you and your family today. I don't remember what year we met but it was at Queensborough Baptist Church in the early 1960's, I think. One day on a Wedneday, Tammy, Tim, and I were at Atkins Park. Henrietta was there with you and Paul. Henrietta was teaching Sunbeams at our church at the time and working in our church library. She asked Tammy to come to Sunbeams that night. She did and never missed again. It did not matter what was going on during the day, we had to finish in time for Tammy to get to church for Sunbeams. I started working in the library with Henrietta and continued as long as y'all were in Shreveport, before moving to Houston.
And, Donald and Amos were in the same Sunday School class and were good friends. Donald passed away in 1995 with colon cancer.
I am thrilled that Henrietta and I have been able to communicate through email for a good many years. I tried to let her know whenever anything happened here that I thought she would like to know.
I will miss her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time and in the days to come.
Love and prayers, Ann Moffett##imported-begin##Ann Moffett##imported-end##
Dear Keith and Family,
I served on the Mobberly staff in the 80s and had the privilege to know your family during those years. We loved Henrietta and Amos so much and they were like family to Eva, my boys, and me. The boys are grown now but they still talk of their memories of going to Mr. & Mrs. Austin's house and roaming in the 'big house' and fishing in the pond! Our prayers are with you!

Henrietta was a super friend to have and I will miss her dearly. She was such an encourager for me when I moved here in 1998. We went to so many Bible classes together and were computer buddies too. Such a joy to know and love.##imported-begin##Sue Mantooth##imported-end##
