Helen was a very special person; she will be deeply missed. My prayers and thoughts go out to the families of Valerie, Mark and Yvette. May your memories of your mom/grandmother bring you comfort at this time.
I will miss Helen so much. I have done her nails for ten years and considered her a friend. I know she was very proud of her kids, daughter in law, son in laws, and wonderful grandkids. She also was very thankful for Mitch. I know I will miss her and her witty personality. She could always make me laugh.
I will be praying for all of you .
Sincerely, Laura Roberts
To the family : my sincere condolences. There is no greater pain than the death of a loved one. Sometimes it seems almost more than a person can bear. Jehovah God helps us with this in His word, He promises us that He will put a stop to all sickness and death will be no more (REV 21;3.4) Jehovah also shows His love for us through the ransom sacrifice of His beloved son Jesus Christ. What a wonderful gift to be given ! Then the hope of seeing our loved ones again on this earth, transformed into a paradise. The Bible tells us this was Jehovah's will when He created Adam & Eve. Please take your Bible and read: (Genesis 1:26,27; John 5: 28,29; Psalms 37:11,22,29). If you have any questions or comments, you can contact me at: [email protected] Sincerely: Rick Ruiz Schwebel.
I loved Helen. She and I took a trip several years ago to Nantucket and had a great time. In fact, Dr. Little introduced my husband and I. We love this family for so many reasons!!!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Little family

We have not known Helen Little, but we know her daughter, Yvette, very well and love her very much. Ms. Helen is truly a remarkable woman to have raised a child to be the beautiful and sturdy flower that is Yvette. Generous, caring, funny and smart. We wish peace and comfort to Helen's family and especially to our dear friends, Yvette, Bruce, Andrew and Will McLeod. Fond regards, Kathy, Stephen, and Walter Johnstone
I moved to Longview when I was less than two years old, in 1941. I lived here until I moved to Dallas in 1957. After living there, as well as Washington, DC, and Houston, a total of 53 years, I returned to Longview in 2011. One of the first people I met when I came back was Helen Little.
I found Helen a remarkable woman. She took me under her wing, as she had done many others, and introduced me to her friends. She had a quick and ready wit, and an unbelievable memory. She shared stories of people and events in Longview that happened after I moved away in 1957. I think she welcomed a chance to share these stories with a relative newcomer. My transition to Longview was made much easier because of Helen's willingness to share so much with me.
I would have to say that her passion was her church. She spent many hours there helping in any way she could. Toward the end of her life on several occasions, after
attending an event at the church, I would walk out to her car with her. I always
marveled that she would get behind the wheel, and in the dark of night make her way home after a long and busy day. I always said a prayer as she disappeared that she would make her way home safely. Somehow, she always did.
So enjoyed knowing Helen over the years. My time with her at Trinity Church was a joy.
She will be greatly missed in our parish.
