Somehow I missed seeing this dear man's Obit. Tuesday night and I have just seen it on myComputer through Rader's. Harold was a Volunteer and that is how I met him. Several frindsmentioned that they carried all their Insurance with him and his Agency. I visited him several times in Clairmont's Rehab and recently found him at Summer Meadow Rest Home. I will always remember the nice things my friends said about him. I know he was a good, good man.##imported-begin##Milie Harper##imported-end##

Please accept my condolences regarding the passing of Mr. Unker
I worked with him when he was at Hibbs Hallmark. He was always sweet to me and to my granddaughter Breia.
He tried to doctor all of us when we were sick.He was always concerned for us girls. We were always getting on to him for working so much and not enjoying himself. I am glad he is no longer sick.

Harold and I enjoyed many interesting conversations about politics and religion when he was associated with Hibbs-Hallmark. I still remember the day he brought a copy of Schindler's list to the office to show everyone the names. I appreciate the fact that he was able to introduce us to John Thomas who was an excellent business partner. Both are together now. May they rest in peace.

Harold Unker will always be remembered in our hearts as a generous, kind and loving brother as well as a wise and caring uncle.
Harold was eager to listen to the plight of others and went out of his way to help in whatever way he could. Throughout the years, Harold and his nephew, Howard, often discussed personal and philosophical matters and most recently both Howard and his wife, Estelle spent a great deal of time speaking with Uncle Harold about his feelings regarding the true meaning of life. Harold?s views on this subject were both brilliant and shocking.
Harold Unker was a very intelligent philosopher and we will greatly miss his wise counsel.
