How fortunate we feel, to have shared a small part of Harold's life. From the time our kids were small, running around on the soccer fields, to their High School years. He thought so much of Ryan & Caitlyn, especially Caitlyn. He always had a kind and complimenting word about one or both of them. We laughed together, we prayed together. We are sorry for the loss of Harold. We know he will be missed by all who knew him. There are many childhood memories that Mr. Harold is a part of. Even more recent memories- such as playing dominoes by the light of lanterns during the ice storm of January 2001. Grandma Nirva always said we were "making memories" and we sure were. I wouldn't trade those memories for the world.

Having met Harold only once during an oxygen delivery to his home recently, I was truly blessed. Harold had the magnetic personality that made me want to stay that day and perhaps become his next best buddy. What a guy! Through directed banter we discovered that he knew my daughter when she waitressed at one of his favorite haunts. I told my daughter of our meeting and she raved for quite some time about Harold and his love for coffee and conversation.
