Dr. Leatherman and family,
Your mother befriended Jerry's mother Myrtle when they were both in independent living at Buckner Westminster. She was a very kind and outgoing person, and we always enjoyed visiting with her.
We send our condolences for your loss.

Dear Dr.Leatherman and family,I just wanted to let you know that my prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of your grief and sorrow. This I know, for some strange reason, from talking to you,you were your mom's favorite son.....I don't know why..since I worked with you..this is supposed to make you smile..but,I am thinking of you, seriously.
Fondly,

I enjoyed visiting with your mother when I came to see my mother, Francile Harper. She told stories of her life and how your parents met and married. Our mothers sat beside each other at the dining table at the Green House.##imported-begin##Wendy Moore##imported-end##
I have wonderful memories of your mother when she was a resident of Buckner Westminister Place and I was the Activities Director. She and I worked on several activities together. She was a delight to work with -- so enthusiastic and creative! The one I remember best had to do with butterflies. She is now with her creator and probably has lots of questions to ask Him about butterflies and His other creations. God bless you!##imported-begin##Claudia Beaty Mrs. Dewayne Beaty##imported-end##
Dear Dr. George, Genie and family,
It was an honor to care for your mother. She was always kind to me and prayed for me and told me stories of being a "country girl" and riding horses with her brother.
I will miss her and miss seeing all of you. God bless you all.##imported-begin##Farooq Bahadory##imported-end##
What wonderful memories I have of working with Mrs. Leatherman on my day at the Big Little School. Three of our four boys now 39, 37, and 35 attended preschool there where she taught them with her love and patience and kindness and understanding. She gave each one of them such a great beginning to the world of school and we will always be grateful to her. We also shared good times with scouting. We have all been blessed to have her in our lives. Love, Jill Kershner##imported-begin##Jill Kershner##imported-end##
