Funeral services for Grady Singley, 84, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock AM Monday December 26, 2005 at Valley View Baptist Church 1602 Alpine with Mr. Singleys nephew Pastor Loyd Singley of Crowley, LA. officiating, eulogy will be delivered by Pastor Homer Wright lifelong friend and pastor of Texarkana, Tx.. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery for family only under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Singley passed away Thursday December 22, 2005 in Longview.
He was born March 31, 1921 in Marion Louisiana to William Lilburn Singley and Sarah Bellezonia Auld Singley, Sr. He married Melva Ruth Reynolds on June 17, 1944 in Longview, Texas.
Mr. Singley was a veteran of World War Two, an ordained Baptist Minister and active member of Valley View Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School teacher, Choir member, trustee, and in many other ways. He was the owner of Singley Electric, Inc. in Longview until his retirement in 1997.
He is survived by his wife Melva Ruth Singley of Longview, children, Phillip Singley of Longview, Paula Hendrix of Hallsville, Elaine Lloyd of Riga, Latvia, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and brother, David Singley of Dunn, LA.; sister, Vivian Stephens of Monroe, LA.; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Leola Dianne, grandson, Matthew Hendrix, brothers, Wilbur, Alton, W.L., Jr. and Corlis C. sister, Hazel Singley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday December 25, 2005 from 3pm until 5pm.
