I have so many memories of Uncle Grady-I think one thing that I will never forget-the time daddy allowed Faye and me to ride the trailway bus from Delhi, Louisiana. to visit Uncle Grady and Aunt Melva
in Longview-we were thrilled at the age of 8 and 9 to spend a wk. or 2 weeks. He greeted us at the bus station with that smile he always had. He and Aunt Melva always had time for us even with busy work schedules. And we always went to church when we were there-SS, church on Sun. and Sun. nights and Wed. nights. He led by example-a true Christian and family man-I am proud to call him my uncle. Love, Linda Singley Knapp##imported-begin##Linda Knapp##imported-end##

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Singley many years ago in Austin, Texas when I was a guest in Elaine?s home and her parents were visiting her. Mr. Singley was a gentleman, deferring conversation to those around him, smiling and making sure others were being attended to. Kind and affable, one felt renewed after spending time with Mr. Singley. I am a great admirer of Elaine and with that know that much of who she is is in no small part the influence of Grady. Comforting to know that today he is spending Christmas with The Savior. Our thoughts and prayers with Mrs. Singley, Elaine, Paula and Phillip and all the Singley family.##imported-begin##Jeff McLain##imported-end##
