So many of us have wonderful memories of Gary Lovelace. I worked with him and for him for 14 years at the Primary School, J-2 and at the former Intermediate School. 3-4. Gary loved working with his students and staff. And his staff loved him.
Gary first loved God and his family followed by the staff and students of Hallsville ISD, In his years dealing with cancer he kept a positive attitude. Any time I had the opportunity to visit with Gary even when he was sick, he told funny stories and made me laugh
I want to extend by deepest sympathy to Trisha, Tara.and Lara. Now that he has graduated to Heaven, all of us who knew him hold special memories of him in our hearts. "Well done good and faithful servant."

WHEN I WOULD STOP BY CARING AND SHARING IT WAS ALWAYS A JOY TO SEE AND TALK WITH GARY. HIS PRESENCE WILL TRULY BE MISSED,BUT IF YOU WOULD JUST HOLD ON TO ALL OF THE LOVE AND ALL OF THE MANY FOND MEMORIES THAT YOU HAVE EMBEDDED IN YOUR HEART FOR GARY THAT EVERY BEAT OF YOUR HEART GARY WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU.

I've known Gary since he first came to Hallsville. His loved and will be missed.
Gary was a great Bobcat supporter and loved by everyone. He will be missed by everyone at football and baseball games. Rest easy Gary. To his family you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Lovelace family. Thank you for sharing the servant life of "Coach Lovelace". He will always be 'Coach' to me. He was one of my HS coaches at White Oak. He had an impact on many people over his life and career. I decided to become a coach and educator because of him and my other coaches, and upon graduating.. I contacted 'Coach' to see if he knew of any openings in the area. He helped me get my 1st coaching/teaching position at Longiew HS. 'Coach' just had a way of knowing things.. and people. I have never forgotten that and we have spoken about it on several occasions over the years. I am deeply saddened by your loss but celebrate with you a life well lived in service to God.
