I have searched for many years for Fred. I am so sorry he has passed. Fred and I served together in Korea in 1967 at AADCP # 2. He was my section chief and learned the sop from him. Fred and I became good buddies while serving together. He will always be a special person to me. I hope someone in his family gets this message. My name is Jim Perkins email is: [email protected].
What a unique and neat guy was Fred. We were classmates and friends at Marshall High, where Fred (or Freddy) was almost always the smartest guy in the class. He not only actually knew how to use a slide rule, he had the most delightful sense of humor! Everyone loved Fred!
Our sincere condolences to the entire family of Fred Selz. He was a fine man and we enjoyed talking at neighborhood get-together's that involved the wider neighborhood. Additionally, cousin Carole and I would occasionally talk to him and Mrs. Selz. . I "thank him" for his Service to our nation in the U.S.Army ...protecting our Freedoms. And, I admire his 36 years service at Borden. That, takes dedication. Fred was a fine man with a good sense of humor. He will be missed by many.
