Freddie was my very best childhood friend growing up in Flossmoor, IL. We were inseparable and spent hours in the woods and creek behind his house discovering nature and ourselves. We lost contact when I moved to California in the 1970's and I regret not renewing our close relationship in the ensuing years. Although we had little contact over the past 40 years I feel the loss. There was only one Fred and he was a great fellow.I first met Fred when I was ten and my sister met him in 7th grade dancing class.He has been apart of our family for along time. I remember one year I was 15 and he asked me what he should get Lynne for Christmas. They had been on again off again and he wanted to return to the complete picture so I told him he needed to buy her a cashmere sweater. He did and it was love forever. He will be missed by all.
