##imported-begin##David Burks##imported-end##David and Teresa, We have you in our prayers . One never stops missing their parents. We enjoyed your Mom and we appreciated how kind she was to her neighbor Stan Olson. I am sorry we were not able to come to the funeral home. We have thought of you over and over. If I can be a help to you seeing we live near her home, please call. Love, Ann and Paul Kelsey##imported-begin##Ann Kelsey##imported-end##
"... a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned..."
Mrs. Frankie Burks lived Proverbs 31: 10-31
I thank God for the privilege of growing up with her example before me.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I hope that God will give you comfort and strength and a peace of mind knowing that she is in a better place looking down on all of you. She was a really special woman and I am very thankful I was able to meet her. It was a blessing. Once again my deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all.##imported-begin##Amy Whitehorn##imported-end##
My heart aches to hear this sad news. I had known Miss Frankie for a long time and even though I had not seen her in a while, thought of her often. She used to tell me all about Russell, her big dog, and her grand kids.
The first time I met Frankie was in 1975, when I had just graduated from high school and was teaching arts and crafts at Camp Fire Girls at Camp Natowa. Frankie came and did several demonstrations for us. We became friends from then on and I visited her craft store often.
In 1985, I went to work for her at Service Merchandise and we became even closer. In the time that has passed since then, we ran into each other and caught up on family and old friends.
Frankie was a wonderful person and I know how much she will be missed.
We can all take comfort that she is happy and healthy, with her family in the presence of God.
God Bless.##imported-begin##Valencia Smotherman##imported-end##
Sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Frankie many years ago at Service Merchandise and she was a wonderful lady. She was always nice and friendly and always had time to help anyone. I know she will be missed. I also work in Registration at Good Shepherd and I checked her in a few weeks ago and she still was pleasant.##imported-begin##Elsie Hughes##imported-end##
