Jackie and I have long considered Frank and Fran Richardson to be special friends and fellow servants in our Methodist ministry. We also remember with appreciation Frank's dad, Rev. Frank Richardson, Sr.
We had the privilege of serving Kilgore UMC as the 2nd pastor after Frank and enjoyed the beautiful Family Life Center that he led the church in building.
We usually contacted Frank on his birthday since he and Jackie shared birthdays on December 1st I enjoyed talking with him just recently, also, since our Christmas letter to him went to a wrong address and was not returned for several weeks. I had no idea it would be the last time we would be able to talk with him on Earth but we will look forward to catching up in Heaven.
Frank's Christian faith, loving and caring nature, and ebullient sense of humor were always evident. Those of us who knew, loved, and appreciated him will miss him greatly.
