Frank Allen Hodges, Jr., 82, of Longview passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1922 in El Dorado, Arkansas and lived in Longview since 1935. He married Clara Jean Harris on October 24, 1942 Read Obituary
I came to be friends of Mr. Hodges through a working relationship at ARCO. He was always very positive and a caring man. He would always tell me how good God had been to him. I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Hodges' passing. I had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful man for a short time while I worked at Texas Bank & Trust. He would light up the room when he entered, and always had kind words to share with everyone he encountered. I also remember that he would make us laugh often. Frank was a wonderful person and everyone at Regions Bank felt like he was part of our family also! With everything that Frank went through the past few years, he was still able to have a smile on his face when he came into the bank and made his daily rounds to see everyone. After visiting with everyone he then would settle down with the Wall Street Journal. Every day when I will look at the Wall Street Journal, I will think of Frank, and smile.
