Francis was a great man, he always looked out for others.
He was the best boss I ever worked for.
He will be greatly missed by his North slope family.
The only thing a man leaves is his character, Francis Boaze was outstanding, you will be missed,
Mary Jane and family. B.J. send our prayers for the family. I met Francis one time and truly can say, He was a fine man to know.
I worked for Francis for years up in Alaska and I have never had a better Boss man. We were also friends and my fondest memory of him is that he was always upbeat and positive. Francis was truly a man among men. He will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to all his family and friends.

My most sincere condolences to all that loved my sweet uncle Francis Boaze. It seems no matter how many times I go through the death of a beloved one I am left deeply saddened and bewildered by this unnatural event. Death was not part of God’s original idea for human existence. The reason death seems so wrong and unnatural is because it is wrong and unnatural! Life was only meant to give way to life all the way into eternity.
It creates a void that mere words are incapable of providing comfort for. To find comfort we must seek out God for Jesus has taken the name Immanuel, which means “God with us.” In the darkness and aloneness of your grief, God Himself stands beside you and dwells within you as you face this.
I find myself drawn to the words and actions of King David regarding the illness and eventual death of his son.As his son lay dying David ripped his clothes, covered himself in ashes, fasted and pleaded to God to save his son continually. Having witnessed the horrible grief of David his servants feared what he would do when they were to tell him of his child's death.
To their amazement upon learning the news of his son's death David picked himself up, bathed and set at the table to eat.
Seeing this the servants asked him why he grieved so deeply and upon his son's passing he no longer grieved. The answer was simple. David said while his son was alive there was a chance that God may heal him. Now that he was gone he knew he would join him one day in Heaven.
Francis now stands in the presence of God free from his pain we all will one day be greeted by him and we all shall dwell with him and all our loved ones where we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever.
God bless you all and may He grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding,
Michael A. Boaze
Francis was quite possibly the best boss I have ever worked for. He had a way of getting you to do things that were not quite right but you hated to say no. I would just look at him and say boss you are going to get both in trouble, but it will get done. I remember the night I got the call that my father was on life support and I needed to get home right away. I stayed up all night waiting till morning when Francis got up so I could ask him to get me a flight home. He got me on the first flight that morning and instead of making me take a shuttle he drove me to the airport himself. He stayed with me till it was time to get on the plane. He did not have to but he did, I have not forgotten that simple act of kindness to this day. He his passing has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled. I remember on day joking with him about being from Texas and he looked me in the eyes and asked. What do you call a Texan who has been on the Slope for ten years? I said I don't know. His reply was Boss and then he just smiled at me. I never liked to tell Francis I couldn't do something for fear of disappointing him. He had that affect on people it takes someone special to be able to do that.
Boss you will be missed more that I will ever be able to express.
