Frances Elizabeth Denham Funeral services for Frances Denham, 91, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home , 1617 Judson Road with Rev. Bobby Moore and Rev. Winford Stone of Read Obituary
Mrs. Denham was my 4th grade teacher, which was about 30 years ago. She was my favorite teacher, and I hate to hear of her passing. I remember she was the kindest, sweetest person, and would help you with anything. I can honestly say, she was a wonderful teacher.

She was a special lady as you know. My mother in law, Dorothy Parr, and your mother would talk on the phone for hours discussing their kids, grandkids, church and just about anything of interest that they could discuss. She was so nice to my son, Brad, who mowed her lawn for a while. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Aunt Frances and Uncle Joe provided me with some of my favorite and most precious memories. My sister and I lived in the Valley and spent several summers with them in Carroll. Like Phety, I also remember picking the berries but I also have many other very happy times to recall. Aunt Frances was such a kind and loving aunt and I loved her so much and will miss her. Aunt Frances was always my favorite aunt. I have so many fond memories of her. I remember picking wild blackberries with her and later she made a cobbler. I went with Uncle Joe to pick her up from college one time. I thought I was special! She taught me many things, passed on a love for magazines to me. I admired her so much. I will miss her.
