I am So Sorry for your Loss. My Absolute earliest memories are of going to town on Saturdays with our Dad, maybe getting to go to the movies at the Arlyne Theater, then getting our hair cut at Your Dad's when he was next door to the McWilliams Store; So, Literally for All of My Life, Your Dad has been some part of my family's comings and goings; So Sorry to see this page being turned.

Mama Dot, I love you so much and am sorry you lost your brother and from what my Mom tells me your best friend. I wish I was able to spend more time with him as a young man but the time I got to spend with him as a little boy was wonderful. I loved his smile and quite calm nature. Uncle Floyd., Or as my grandmother Dorthy called him, Sonny Boy. Was a heartfelt family man. He used to take me flying during the summers and the 1st time up.

We crashed on a white gravel runway in the Ozarks. Being the 1st time to fly I just thought we had a bumpy landing until we ran of the end of the runway. We were picking up his son Daniel Younger from summer camp. Never did he panic and that shows to say a whole lot about him. His wife Bettye and Daughter, Nancy Younger were in the plane also. If a family member needed help there was no keeping Floyd back.

Daniel Younger was like a big brother to me we were close and the apple did not fall to far from the tree. I was fortunate to have spent a lot of time with Floyd as a young child. I am proud to come from a family of truly great men. My Uncle Floyd was one of the most loving, kind and compassionate men I have ever known. He treated his nieces and nephews as wonderful as he did his own children. He was an amazing father and a wonderful husband. I am blessed beyond measure to have had him as my Uncle.
