Evelyn Viola "Susie" was my Mawmaw, I was brought into the family not when I was born, but when I was about 9 years old. Mawmaw excepted me as one of her own grandchildren (which must have been hard) but without any question. She loved me with the love she had for her own grandchildren, and I thank her for that. She was an amazing woman, and I'm proud to say that she was my Mawmaw!

My sincere condolences at this time of your life. It is never easy to let go of your mother. As I read her obituary, I smiled to myself thinking....she gave her girls the wonderful legacy of loving children and enjoying children. Both of you girls reflect her love of little ones and her motivation to teach and be there for children. My prayers are with you and the rest of your family at this time.
