Aunt Eva, as my wife Colleen Moore, my sons, and I called her, was a wonderful person who filled in the gap of almost being like "mom" with the loss of our mothers over the past several years. If we did not call her with important family news or if we were late for our semi-annual visits with her in Longview, she would scold us for not keeping her updated or for being late - just like a real mom. She would always send a birthday card to our sons and an anniversary card to my wife and I every year. Even though our visits with her were usually brief about 2 or 3 hours, we felt as though we were able to keep up with Aunt Eva's news as well as informing her about our news. I'm so glad we got to visit her after she moved to Houston - her apartment was arranged such that it felt like we were still in Longview. At least now, she's in eternal rest along with "Uncle Joe" as she referred to her husband, for whom we were glad to meet and know as well.##imported-begin##Dan Glaser##imported-end##
