Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you all today as we remember Eugene; a favorite cousin to us.
I have enjoyed many, many hours visiting on the phone these past several years.
Eugene liked the jokes in magazines, The American Legion and Readers Digest. As soon as he received his magazines he would call and start to tell a joke...not realizing for awhile that I also received the same magazines and just before he was ready to say the punch line I would say it...he was fun to talk with...always good natured.
We both knew we wouldn't be travelling much anymore so to have a friend and a relative to visit with, mostly everyday, has been a blessing.
