I was a part of that very small but caring group of classmates at Union Grove during the best of years. Ernest was one of the "brothers" I claimed being a part of my Daddy's group of FFA boys at UG. I will never forget how caring he was for me & my sister when he saw us out one night our dad was dying in the hospital in Gladewater from cancer. He saw us and basically told us we needed to be at home & not driving Gladewater! He just didn't realize but he sure cared! Football, FFA, and many memories of just one of the Lion Pride! He will be missed & may our Heavenly Father comfort & give you peace.
