I've known Eloree my entire life. My family attended the wedding when she married my cousin Robert Clamp in 1946. My twin brother, Bill, and I were 2 1/2 years old at the time and our parents were terrified we would ruin the ceremony by talking. Robert & Eloree insisted that we attend and sit at the front of the church with Robert's parents. Eloree told me that she could hear our sweet little voices from time to time during the ceremony, but that was okay and not loud.
I also remember the beautiful clothes she made me when I was a little girl and pear preserves she shared after my Mom passed away. I also recall the many family fish fries the Clamp & Webb families enjoyed at Lake Cherokee at Uncle Grady's lake house. In later years I was always proud to purchase some of her beautiful baby afghans to give as gifts.
Mike and I express our love, sympathy and prayers for comfort to Wayne and his entire family. Rest in peace dear lady...you will be missed.##imported-begin##Carol Danforth##imported-end##
